About
I have been creating jewelry wardrobe since 2006. One day, my daughter brought me an interesting looking stone and asked me to make her a necklace. So, my first experience with jewelry was learning about lapidary and making my daughter a necklace from the stone she brought me. From that point, I began to learn other styles of making jewelry. Totally self taught and by trial and error, I have learned how to create all style of beaded jewelry, neck and wrist wraps, lace jewelry, and metal jewelry, to name some. All of my wardrobe adventures are made with genuine stones, semi-precious stones, quality glass, and fresh or salt water pearls. All in Fine Silver (99.9%), or Copper. I have also incorporated organic cottons and alpaca in my jewelry wardrobe. All of the fine silver is polished and ready to wear; all of the copper is sealed to prevent or to at least delay the natural tarnishing process.
I love this quote by Linda Nainan where she explains, "When we engage in what we are naturally suited to do, our work takes on the quality of play that stimulates creativity."
